Charles has extensive experience with personal injury trials. He tries and litigates medical malpractice, car accident, wrongful death, and serious injury cases. He has been involved in the successful conclusion of over 100 verdicts and settlements more than $1,000,000 in over 40 different states, including Texas, Nevada, Colorado, New York, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio, North Carolina, and Washington. He has overseen the review and completion of thousands of personal injury cases at every step of the legal process. He is asked by lawyers all over the country to co-counsel cases that range from automobile collisions and truck accidents to medical malpractice and product liability.
Charles is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Trial Lawyers Associations, American Association of Justice, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and is Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated-AV Preeminent, the highest possible rating in both legal ability & ethical standards. Charles is an original member of the Reptile research group. He was actively involved in research that helped develop the “litigation principles,” which assist lawyers on deposition, opening statements and cross-examination techniques. Charles has spoken to thousands of lawyers on the deposition and cross-examination techniques using rules and community safety that he learned and employed during the inception of the Reptile.
Charles has been able to lecture and present on these topics to thousands of lawyers across the country. On the importance of depositions, opening statements, proving causation and trial techniques. He has spoken to dozens of state and national trial lawyer associations from coast to coast. Charles is one of the founders of the Power Deposition method and is a frequent speaker for 360 Advocacy on the subject.
He has written articles on the use of neuroscience and communication. He has spoken on how to work up and try cases in the area of automobile liability, trucking collisions, medical malpractice, products liability and premises liability. He has written and spoken on how to litigate mobile home “tie-down” cases; how to depose defendant physicians and defense physician experts; how to prepare clients; how to present PowerPoint in litigation; how to evaluate malpractice and personal injury cases and how to work with your doctor expert to name a few.
